Installation & Maintenance

3. Disconnect the 3 cables connected to the main board's 2 COM headers

and 1 DIO header.

ARES-1973C-4898

COM 3 header connector

COM 4 header connector

DIO header connector

Disconnect the 3 cables

connected to the main

board (2 COM headers

and 1 DIO header).

4. Remove the 4 screws securing the LAN daughter board and lift it away

from the computer. As the LAN board is connected to the main board via

board-to-board connector(s) underneath the card, you may have to lift the

LAN board firmly to remove it.

To remove the LAN board SCDB-129S

5. Then you are ready to access the components on the main board and

make required configurations and connections.
