Lifetime of the mechanical seal
The lifetime of the mechanical seal strongly depends on the application and it is
advised to check it with regular intervals.

Check the bearings
1. Check the bearings.
Use a vibration measure tool to measure the vibrations.
Note the results in a logbook. Consult the most recent VDI, ISO or BS standards
for the acceptable values.
8.5
Lifetime of the bearings of the motor
For the lifetime of the bearings and grease instructions, refer to the manual of the
motor as published by the manufacturer. If it is necessary, contact your local agent
or distributor.
