Always unplug the unit from the wall before performing any maintenance.

•   Make sure the unit is drained before moving.

Cleaning the Unit:

•  Only use a soft damp cloth.

•  Never use chemicals, oil-based products, detergents, or other cleaning solutions. 
  These could damage the cabinet.

Cleaning the Filter:

•  Slide out the fi lter holder
  from the unit. 

•  Separate the fi lter fi xer from 
  the fi lter holder (see fi g. 1). 

•   Remove the active carbon fi lter (black).

•  To clean fi lters, vacuum with standard vacuum cleaner. If the fi lters still appears dirty, Lifetime Filter  
  and frame can be washed with soapy water. DO NOT wash the carbon fi lter

•  Insert the active carbon fi lter into the fi lter holder (see fi g. 2).

•  Fix the fi lters by reassembling the fi xer into the fi lter holder (see fi g. 3).

NOTE:

•   Before storage be sure fi lters are clean and dry.

•  Should you need to replace fi lters, contact Arbaco for replacement.

•  The screen fi lter must always be used.

•  Filters can be vacuumed.

IMPORTANT:   NEVER operate the unit without a fi lter. 

At the end of AC Season, this unit should be drained prior to storage.  
Refer to “Emptying the Water Container” section of this manual.

•  Drain the condensed water (if any) completely.

•  Clean or change the fi lter.

•  Put the unit on a warm day in fan mode for a couple of hours to ensure that the 
  inside can dry out completely.

•  Store the power cable as shown, protect the unit against dust (put back into its original carton)
  and store in a dry place not accessible for children.

•  To protect the unit  against dust, store in a dry place not accessible by children. 

•  Do not stock heavy objects on top of the unit.
