Before commissioning, carry out the following checks:

Cooling
Are the cable glands tight?
Have the cable glands been tightened with the correct torque?
3.3.8, 3.13.7, data sheet of
the cable gland manufacturer
Does the cooling work?
If the cooling circuit is monitored: does the monitoring work?
Housing
Check the housing:
Is the housing undamaged?
Is the housing closed?
Are all covers mounted on the housing?
Check the mounting plate on which the housing is mounted:
Can the mounting plate support the weight of the
VECTOPOWER?
Can the mounting plate withstand temperatures up to 95 °C /
203 °F?
Check the fastening:
Are the screws tightened with the correct torque?
Are the screws secured against unintentional loosening?
Is the IP protection class of the housing suitable for the
application?
Has sufficient space been provided around the VECTOPOWER?
Environment
Have all planned external measures for setting up the system
been implemented?
Are the operating conditions observed: e.g., height above sea
level, temperature range?
Have planned protective measures been carried out, for
example:
Protection against accidental contact with hot surfaces?
Sound absorbing measures?

Initial commissioning for an application
Information:
The initial commissioning is carried out with a newly designed application. It is used to determine
the specific parameters for the VECTOPOWER.
Note: If ARADEX AG has created an individual parameter set for your application, the procedure
for initial commissioning is somewhat different from that described here. See chapter 6.4.4
