[ST4] cable preparation for VECTOPOWER
VP5000-DC/DC60
Information:
With the VECTOPOWER VP5000-DC/DC60, [ST4] is required for voltage measurement at
[/-] if an external precharging circuit is to be controlled by the VECTOPOWER.
To create EMC compatibility, the cable shield must be connected to a ground wire at both ends.
Prerequisites:
•
Required tools:
- Sharp cable pliers to cut the cable,
- Stripping pliers or knife for stripping,
- Crimp pliers see chapter 3.13.6 Product description, Accessories that can be obtained from
ARADEX AG, Mating connectors for [ST4].

Required material:
- Shielded cable that is suitable for your application
- Mating connectors and crimp contacts for [ST4], see chapter 3.13.6 Product description,
Accessories that can be obtained from ARADEX AG, Mating connectors for [ST4].

Required documents:
- Pin assignment plan. See chapter 3.7.4 Product description, Logical connections, [ST4]
design and pin assignment
Procedure:
•
Cut the cable to the required total length.
•
Mount the mating connector as described in the excerpt from the assembly manual for series
923, page 1, from Intercontec. See the figure below.
