Emergency Broadcast System alert
When an Emergency Broadcast System alert is
received, the radio will:
•
pause current audio playback,
•
display the emergency warning text on the
display,
•
use text-to-speech to read the alert
If multiple alerts are active, the weather key
allows you to toggle between them.
•
Weather Alerts (Emergency
Broadcast alerts) are checked for
updates every 2 minutes.
•
Emergency Broadcast System alert is
not available in all locations.
