3. If the gain is slightly low (i.e., several dB below typical), try disconnecting the input and output cables
from the A8, A10, A11, A12 and A13 Quad Amps and checking the individual gain. Typical Quad Amp
response is shown in Figure 4-3.

4. If the Quad RF Amplifiers response is normal, check the response of the A7 Pre-Amplifier. The gain
response should be approximately 28–32 dB. See Figure 4-4 for typical A7 Pre-Amp response.
