IT IS FORBIDDEN TO OPERATE THE WATER HEATER WITHOUT PROTECTIVE
EARTHING!
The protective earthing has to comply with dispositions of the IEC 60364.
The electric appliance has to contain a one-pole isolation or sectioning unit (connector) mounted
after the water heater, which makes the separation of the opening contacts of the connector possible
at a distance of at least 3 mm. The water heater has to be connected to the system through a fix
connection.
THE THERMOSTAT
This water heater is an appliance of a really good quality, built, regulated and controlled in a careful
way. Its only task is to maintain the temperature of the water at a pre-selected level, or to limit
moves in water temperature. The thermostat of the water heater is stamped, which means that no
possible (re)controls or reparations can be made on it over the work the manufacturer has performed
on the appliance; except for normal control executed through turning the indicator, which can only
be performed by
a professional technician after putting the appliance into operation in a
voltage-free state. Neglecting this instruction causes losing guarantee and warrant rights. In case of
any difficulty (some kind of failure), the thermostat has to be simply replaced. The water heater
must be handled with utmost care.
In order to reach efficient use of electric energy, the operating temperature of the water heater must
be set around 65
o
C, which increases resistance to corrosion and decreases the danger of scale
deposit. Up to obtaining the set temperature, clamps P-1 are closed, while after this point, clamps P-
2 are closed.
In case of appliances of type AQ IDE…F the controlling of electric heating and temperature is
performed by a separate temperature controller. In case of electric heating, it is not possible
to control the temperature of the water to be heated with the help of the button of the
controller mounted onto the outside cover.
THERMAL SAFETY DETACHMENT OF THE HEATING CIRCUIT
The thermal safety of the water heater must be completed at boiler circuit side.
THERMAL SAFETY (for types AQ IDE…F)
The water heater is protected by a safety unit built in the thermal regulator against too high
temperatures in case of electric heating.
ANODE PROTECTION
The tank made of enameled steel plate is protected by a magnesium anode against corrosion.
MAINTENANCE
Essentially, the water heater does not require any maintenance. It is recommended to remove scale
from the appliance placed in location where water hardness is higher than the average every year
according to the following:
-The water heater should be annealed and the tank should be detached from the cold water
system through closing the close valve.
-Water should be drained from the tank through opening the combined safety valve in a way
that meanwhile, a hot water faucet is opened, then the electric parts should be removed from
the appliance. Then the screws of the close valve have to be loosened and the close cover
removed.
