Truecaller
The device comes equipped with the Truecaller application which enables you to identify
and block calls and texts from unknown numbers.
Using a database supplied with information from the users of the platform, the Truecaller
app allows you to mark numbers as spam. Other users can see how many times that number
has been previously marked as spam, and then reject calls and block the number at the
same time.
It also allows you to add relevant information to a phone number in order to identify it if it
is not stored in the contact list.
Open the call application by pressing the
icon on the Home screen. Then press the
icon and select Settings.
Hiding Your Caller ID
1. Press the phone icon on the Home screen.
2. Press the icon and select Settings.
3. Go to Call settings > SIM cards.
4. Additional settings.
5. Press Caller ID.
6. Select the Hide number option.
Restricting Calls
To access the call barring menu:
1. Open the call application by pressing the
icon on the
Home screen.
2. Press the icon and select Settings.
3. Enable Block hidden phone numbers.
Making a test call is recommended to check that you have hidden your number correctly. Some network
operators do not allow hidden numbers and your number may still be displayed on outgoing calls.
To be able to identify calls, the applications requires a data or Wi-Fi connection.
