Turbo Chalk Reactor Control II
for all AquaCare Turbo Chalk Reactors
Function and Mounting
This control is only made only for AquaCare Turbo Chalk
Reactors. This control is for the automatically supply of
CO
2
into the reactor. It has following parts: CO
2
sensor and
box with control unit, solenoid valve, check valve.
Please read the manual for the chalk reactor carefully,
too. Before connecting all parts please drain the water out
off the reactor. Connect the CO
2
pressure tank with the box.
Therefore unscrew the fixing nut of the bottom fitting, push
the tube over the fitting and screw the fixing nut onto the
fitting again. Please connect the upper fitting with the Turbo
Chalk Reactor. Take care that the tube is at one place mini-
mum 1 meter over the chalk reactor (safety loop).
To connect the CO
2
sensor, please screw off both screw
caps of the gray muffle of the CO
2
tube of the reactor. Then
you can fix the sensor at the gray muffle – please do not
loose the o-rings. The cable must be at the top! Otherwise
the control will not work properly. At last you can connect
the plug of the sensor into the control box.
Attention! The flow direction of the CO
2
must be in the
right way. Otherwise solenoid and pressure relief valve
will be destroyed.
Please start the Turbo Chalk Reactor as shown in the manu-
al. If the reactor is filled completely with water, plug in the
control to the mains. After some seconds the solenoid in the
control box will open. Open the CO
2
pressure tank and open
the needle valve of the pressure relief valve. CO
2
is flowing
into the reactor. If the CO
2
will reach the gray muffle (CO
2
sensor) the control stops the CO
2
input and starts again if
additional CO
2
is needed. Please open the CO
2
valve so that
CO
2
will fill up the CO
2
tube within 10-20 seconds.
The control must be connected to the same timer circuit as
the circulation pump of the Chalk Reactor. If the Chalk Re-
actor stops the CO
2
input will stop, too. In the same time the
reactor will let out all gases.
Warranty
You have 24 months warranty on all AquaCare units ex-
cepts spare parts like air stones, pump parts and granules.
You have no warranty if parts are broken by violent (for ex-
ample totally closed water inlet; wrong power supply; CO
2
pressure above 7 bar). If you send a warranty unit to
AquaCare please send the dated receipt, too.
