Level Control / Skimmer Shut Off
Function
The AquaCare
BasiTech
Level Control / Skimmer Shut Off is
delivered with a control box, a level switch with connector to a
20 mm tube, main plug and a connector to a pump or solenoid.
Function: If the float of the level switch is in the upper position,
the connected pump (or others) shuts off. It will start again –
with 3 seconds delay - if the float sinks to the lower position.
The delay is important to prevent damages at the pump. Only
with strong waves you need an additional wave protector.
Mounting the unit
Level Control:
Please control if the voltage of the
unit printed on the label is the same of your house. -
The grey PVC connector can be fixed with the small
plastic screw on every 20 mm tube or at the
AquaCare holder (option). The water level will be
controlled to the upper position of the level switch.
Plug in the mains plug. The green “mains” LED is
flushing. The yellow “on” LED will flush, if the level
switch is in the lower position for longer than 3
seconds. The connector to the pump has now voltage.
Skimmer Shut Off:
Unscrew the white nut from the
level switch and put the grey adapter away. Drill a
hole into the cap of the skimmer cup: 10,5 to 11,5
mm diameter. Now you can fix the level switch.
Attention! The cap material should not be thicker
than 10 mm; the float should move without touching
other things. Now you can connect the level switch
with the
BasiTech
control box again.

Important!
The cable connection and the control
box should never be flushed with water. The pump
should never have a power consumption over 500
