15. Unpack the Heaters and mount them in the 
Heater Chamber. 

DO NOT PLUG THE HEATERS IN UNTIL THEY 
ARE FULLY SUBMERGED IN WATER.

 

 

 

 
16. Attach the Drain Pipe (13) to the Drain 
Bulkhead (7) as shown. 

17. Place the return pump into the return pump 
chamber.
 

 

18. Join the two sections of return pipe by 
reassembling the Return Hose Barrel Union (10)

 
19. Unpack the Protein Skimmer and follow 
the included instructions to set it up. Mount 
the skimmer as shown on Page 7. To make it 
easier to position the skimmer body remove the 

collection cup first.

 

20. Fill the aquarium with water so that the 

water overflows into the sump and fills the 

Return Pump chamber to about 5cm above the 
maximum operating water level mark. When 
running, the water level should always remain 
above the minimum operating water level mark.
