CSAV MILITARY LIFE PRESERVER TECHNICAL MANUAL
Attach all five (5) straps to the MK16 using standard Navy
“dog bones.” Straps consist of two () shoulder straps, two
() waist straps and one (1) Y-crotch strap.
MK16 SETUP
Strap Kit PN 769089
Shorten the straps to keep the MK16 high on the back.
NOTE:
There are two sets of metal double rings sewn into the shoulder straps
on the adjustable harness. Use the forward position for MK16.
When attaching the bottom strap, make sure to connect the buckles
to the female buckles on the D-ring
inside
of the CSAV. Do
NOT
connect to the buckles outside of the CSAV.
