6.5.7.3

Alarm Suppression

PSU 2 Alarms:

This function if checked will suppress alarms for the second PSU.  This means that if there is a PSU fail-
ure then  it  will not be flagged to the  user.  The main reason to disable this alarm is if there is no power
connected to the second PSU.

Note: This option will only appear on the NMS if 2 PSUs are fitted.

Fan Alarms:

This allows the user to disable the fan alarms. If a single power supply is fitted, there will be 1 fan fitted, if
dual power supplies are fitted, then 2 fans will be fitted. This option will disable all fan alarms. This is
useful if the codec is required to be used in a silent environment.

Caution:

APT recommend that fans are only disabled for periods of time.
