BEFORE THE FIRST USE
USE
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil
or plastic from the device.
• Clean before use the appliance with a damp cloth.
• During first use there could be some smoke and a burning smell. This happens
because the appliance is new. It will disappear after a few minutes. This does not
mean there is a malfunction and it will not cause one.
• This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that switches off the device when the
temperature gets too high this is often the result of a partially blocked air inlet and/or
exhaust. When the thermostat switched off the device, turn off the device and allow
it to cool down. Once the device is cooled down, the thermostat will automatically be
reset and you can the resume the use of it. Do not block air vents during use. Periodic
cleaning of the air intake hood is necessary in order to maintain performance. During
use, the hot air exhaust will get hot so avoid all contact with it.
• Unwind the power cord and insert the plug into the socket.
• Adjust the blowing level with the power switch.
• Switch off the dryer and remove the power cord out of the socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool down.
• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to
wipe appliance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit.
• Clean the air suction opening from time to time with a fine brush.
• Never hang unit by the cord. Store the cord loosely coiled. Do not put any stress on
the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its durability,
but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic
appliances. This symbol on the appliance, instruction manual and packaging puts your
attention to this important issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By
recycling of used domestic appliances you contribute an important push to the protection of
our environment. Ask your local authorities for information regarding the point of recollection.
