INSTAllATION RECOMMENDATIONS
• On an interior wall, in a frequently occupied space.
• Approximately 5’ above the floor.
• At least 18” from outside wall.
CONTROllING SENSOR SHOUlD bE MOUNTED:
• Behind doors, in corners or other dead air spaces.
• In direct sunlight, near lighting fixtures, or other
appliances that give off heat.
• On an outside or unconditioned area wall.
• In the flow of a supply register, in stairwells, or near
outside doors.
• On a wall with concealed pipes or ductwork.
DO NOT MOUNT CONTROllING SENSOR:
1. Remove support module cover by pulling straight
forward.
2. Remove the circuit board from the base by releasing
the latch at the bottom center.
3. Position the base, with the word “TOP” on top, so
that the wires can be pulled through the hole in
the top or bottom left corner. Using the base as a
template mark and then drill two 3/16” holes. Insert
wall anchors provided.
4. Place base over anchors and insert and tighten with
the #6 screws that were provided.
5. Seal wire entry hole to prevent drafts from affecting
readings, if utilizing onboard sensors.
6. Snap the circuit board back into the base by sliding
the top of the board in first and then pressing the
bottom down to latch.

WIRE SpECIFICATIONS
• ensure power at the HvAC equipment is off.
• Loosen screw terminals, insert stripped wire and re-tighten.
• Push the excess wire back into the opening and plug the wall opening to prevent drafts.
• The maximum cumulative distance of all support modules from the thermostat is 1000ft (300m).
• For wiring multiple support modules, daisy chain the wiring.
• The maximum distance from the support module to the remote sensor is 300ft.
• Do not route wires along sources of electrical noise such as 120vAC.
