KP-5562 / KP-5564 Touch POS Terminal
The Magnetic Stripe Reader is not working properly.
1.
Check whether the MSR is powered properly by the system: if the buzzer beeps
twice after restarting the system, it means the MSR is powered correctly.
2.
Test the reader with another card. If that works, the MSR is functioning properly.
3.
Wipe the MSR slot with a soft cloth then try again.
The system turns to be unstable after updating BIOS.
Load optimized defaults (or load SETUP Default) after flashing BIOS.
If the system remains unstable, clear CMOS to solve the problem.
How to clear CMOS?
1.
Shut down the system and switch off the power adapter.
2.
Move the jumper cap onto Pin2 and Pin3 at the JP10 to clear the CMOS setting.
3.
Reboot the system.
4.
Press Delete to enter COMS setting and Load Optimized Defaults.
5.
Shut down the system and move the jumper cap onto Pin1 and Pin2 at the JP10
to return to normal operation mode.
