REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.

Install the Bar Brackets on the Drive sidebar & Passenger sidebar, as shown
Figure 1A & 1B.

Remove the 2 existing body mount bolts from frame mounting locations located at front and rear under the
frame of the Vehicle.
Please note
: Do not remove the rubber bushing from the retainer on the vehicle bracket mounts to the
bushing with the factory bolts.

Mount Front and Rear Mounting brackets to body mounts with body mount bolts removed in step 2. Use
front hole in mounting bracket for 97 and newer vehicles and rear holes for 87-95. Leave bolts loose to
allow for adjustment.

Locate sidebar assembly for the side you have started on, the longer leg of the bar goes toward the front of
the vehicle. Bolt front of sidebar assembly to front bracket and rear end of sidebar assembly to rear bracket
using the M12 bolts, flat washes & lock washers. Finger-tighten only at that time to ensure proper
adjustment later.

Make sure all parts are properly aligned and bar is level, tighten all fasteners.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 for another side of vehicle to complete installation of the sidebar.
To protect your investment
, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective
layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel
: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap may
be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes
: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
