’
s been designed to provide many years of viewing enjoyment by optimizing
reception of both analog and digital broadcasts. Connect to the standard RF connector found
on conventional DTV converter boxes and televisions or connect to a DTV converter box featuring
the Smart antenna interface (EIA/CEA-909). For added convenience, AC power is provided
through the interface eliminating the need to plug into a wall outlet. A digital clock is included.
A
smart antenna combines multiple antenna elements with signal processing to optimize its
reception pattern. When the elements of the antenna are steered towards a desired signal,
they provide maximum signal strength while nullifying environment interference thereby resulting
in better reception of digital and analog broadcasts.
