ABOUT EQUALIZER BUTTON
Use to increase or decrease tonal sound quality through the player.
Pressing the Equalizer key will cycle the player through one of the following modes:
1) Equalizer On select type by pressing Enter
2) Spectrum Analyzer will display on screen
3) Spectrum Analyzer will be hidden.
4) Equalizer Off
With the Equalizer On, press the Enter key to select between preset factory settings:
- Standard
- Pop
- Classic
- Ballad
- Jazz
- Dance
- Rock
- Personal
When the Personal graph is selected, use the arrow keys < > to change the frequency , to
increase/ decrease the gain of individual frequencies.
Note: When using Analog Audio, VSS (Virtual Surround Sound) produces a simulated
surround sound. The AD-5131 is NOT true 6 channel suround sound.
ABOUT VSS BUTTON
Press VSS button , it will show as follows:

REMOVING A DISC
How to remove a disc that is currently in use.
1. Press STOP.
2. Press a DISC button that is not currently in use.
For example:
To remove DISC 1, you need to press either DISC 2 or DISC 3.
3. Press OPEN/CLOSE.
4. Remove the disc.
Note: Your player comes equipped with the Disc Exchange feature. This
feature allows you to change discs while your player is in playback mode. The
playback CD will continue to spin even if the loader tray is open.
