6.3.2 APPLYING CARE PRODUCT TO THE PAINTWORK
Apply the product only to painted surfaces, never to plastic parts or rubber seals. Using the polishing hood, dab
the care product onto various spots on the surface to be polished. Hold the device firmly with both hands, always
using the guide handle (Position 2 in the overview). Rest the device with polishing hood on the surface to be
processed. Switch the device on using the ON/OFF switch (Position 1 in the overview). Pass the device evenly over
the paintwork. Do not put pressure on the device. The work is carried out by the rotation process, not the pressure
on the paintwork.
First treat the large, flat surfaces such as bonnet, root and boot lid. Then move on to smaller areas, such as doors
and wings. For areas that cannot be reached using the polishing machine, remove the polishing hood and polish
by hand.
6.3.3 POLISHING THE PAINTWORK
After you have used the woven hood to evenly apply and work in the care product, it must be removed and the
paintwork must be polished. Attach the terrycloth hood. Depending on manufacturer/type, the applied polishing
agent must be completely dry. Now completely remove the care product by polishing the paintwork with the
terrycloth hood in the same order in which you applied the polish.
