Configuration Menus
1. Initial Configuration parameters - Upon first power-up, the display will automatically be in the
Configuration Menus. It will show “Load Cells: 8K”, which is the Load Cell Type menu, and is the first
menu in a sequence of required configuration parameters. The display unit will remain on this menu
until the user modifies the value or advances to the next menu using the “Cal” button. This same
behavior will occur after performing a “Re-Initialization”. The list of Initial Configuration parameters is
shown below:
2. All Configuration parameters - During Normal Display, by pushing both up and down arrow buttons
simultaneously, the user will be taken to the Configuration Menus, starting with “Empty Bin: 00000”,
which is the first menu item.
Explanation of Configuration Menus
Empty Bin: 00000
This is the most accurate method of taring
(calibrating) the unit. Use this method only when the
bin is empty. In this menu, the cursor will be under
the “0” digit on the far left. Press the enter button to
advance through all of the digits (the values cannot
be modified). Press the “Enter” button on the final
digit to save. The unit will now change back to
Normal Display, showing the total feed weight as
Weight lbs: 00000.
