3.8 Power Management Setup
The Power Management Setup screen enables you to control the motherboard
green features.
Power Management > ACPI Suspend Type
This function allows you to select suspend types. S1 is Power On Suspend and
S3 is Suspend to RAM. Available Options:
S1(POS), S3(STR), S1 & S3
Power Management > Wake-up by PCI Card
This is a function of PCI speci

cation 2.2. PCI bus supports standby current to
PCI card and PCI card can wakeup system if it detects certain activity.
Available options:
Disable, Enable
Power Management > Power On by Ring
The option lets you specify enable or disale Wake on Modem Ring fubction.

Power Management > USB KB Wake-Up From S3
The USB KB Wake-Up from S3 support USB keyboard wake up under S3 mode.

Power Management > Resume by Alarm
The Wake Up Timer is more like an alarm, which wakes up and powers on your
system at a prede

ned time for a speci
fi
c application. It can be set to wake up
everyday or on a speci
fi
c date within a month. The date/time is accurate to within
a second. This option lets you enable or disable the RTC Wake Up function.
