Don’t worry!! CPU socket also has a 
fool-proof device.

 

 

You may find the pin arrangement at four corners of CPU 
are different.    Two of them have a bevel-angle which is for 
fool-proof purpose.    As long as you don't insert it too hard, 
the CPU is unable to be located into the socket if it is 
wrongly placed!
