5.4 Measure mode
5.4.1 Temperature with Thermocouple
The calibrator can support 14 standard of thermocouples. See table on Technical
Specifications chapter.
Switch the calibrator ON.
Select the channel to be configured, proceeding as follows:
•
Press the [SELECT] key until “SELECT CH1” or “SELECT CH2” is shown.
If you choose the Channel 1 settings, the calibrator will display:

If you choose the Channel 2 settings, the calibrator will display:
N.B. Channel 2 can measure only on Calys 120 IS model.

Press the [ ] and [ ] keys to highlight the “In” parameter.

Press the [ ] key to select the option. Press the [ESC] key to return in
measure mode without changes.

Press the [ ] and [ ] keys to highlight the reference joint (Rj) mode.
Rji Internal reference. The temperature is automatically
compensated by the internal sensor.
Rje External reference. The temperature is compensated with the
value programmed in “Menu – Unit – Temperature – Rj Ch1
ext” menu.
Rjr Remote reference. The temperature is compensated using the
channel 2 as RTD input. This option is available only on Calys
120 IS model.
