The 411UDAC DACT for connection to a Central Station Receiver or Protected Premises
Receiving Unit. This unit must be installed as illustrated below. For additional information on the
411UDAC, refer to document 51073.
This application using the 411UDAC is not FM approved.
Note:
1. All connections between the control panel and the DACT must be in conduit, less than 20 ft.
(609.6 cm) in length in the same room.
2. The Autopulse-442R is not suitable for transmission of a supervisory signal to the
DACT.
3. Any zone can be wired to function as either alarm or trouble; the DACT must be
programmed accordingly. In this example, Channel 1/Zone 1 is wired to the control panel’s
alarm relays, and Channel 2/Zone 2 is wired to the control panel’s trouble relays.
4. AC Power is supplied directly to the DACT, not through the control panel. AC wiring for
both the DACT and the control panel must be connected to the same AC branch circuit.
5. End-of-line resistors must terminate all circuits. In this example, Channel 3/Zone 3 and
Channel 4/Zone 4 are unused and are terminated at the board.
6. Jumper Settings: When employing a DACT, place jumper over pins JP1-2 and JP1-3 on the
control panel. This directs the control panel to transmit all trouble conditions except AC
LOSS. The DACT must be configured to transmit AC power loss to the central station.
