Congratulations on purchasing the “Pocket Power Charger-Set“. Microcontroller supervised charger set for charging 1-4 NiCd or
NiMH cells of AAA or AA size. With its compact construction and comprehensive accessories it is the perfect charger for use while
travelling.

ATTENTION
Use only with NiCd or NiMH cells. Non rechargeable batteries or other types (Alkaline etc.) could cause an explosion!
INDICATORS
“ANSMANN” logo lights blue: indicates that the charger is connected to input power and is ready for use. The charging indicator
is located between the 2nd and 3rd charging slot. During operation the inserted battery box will be illuminated. Green flashing
indicator: Charging. With increasing charging time the green indicator will flash more frequently! Green indicator constantly on:
Signifies end of charge and trickle charge. Red flashing indicator: Indicates error! For example, a poor connection in the battery
box, or a defective cell. Please ensure batteries and contacts are clean, if necessary using a dry cloth.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the charger • Keep the charger in a dry place (indoor or in-car
use only) • In order to avoid the risk of fire and/or electric shock, the charger must be protected against high humidity and
water • Do not plug in the charger if there are any signs of damage to the housing, cables, mains adaptor or DC connector. In
case of defect, please return to an authorised service centre • Keep out of reach of children • Do not operate the device without
adult supervision • Do not attempt to open the charger • Disconnect the device from the mains supply after use • To clean
the charger, disconnect it from the power adaptor and use a dry cloth only • If the safety instructions are not followed, this may
lead to damage to the charger or batteries or even serious injury to the user.
