Next, take out the rechargeable battery pack and clamp
it again, but this time ensure that the contact pins of
the charger and battery pack are touching. The charger
will automatically adjust to the polarity of the pack so
connection can be made either way.
If the battery pack has more than two connections, ensure
that the + and – contacts are chosen.
Once the connecting has been verified by the charger the
green LED will start to flash to indicate that the charging
process has started. After charging is complete the LED stops
flashing and stays on.
If the red LED is flashing the rechargeable pack may be
faulty and need replacing.
For standard round cells please insert the AA Mignon or the
AAA Micro rechargeable cells into the appropriate charging
slots.
Please pay attention to insert with the correct polarity.
The charge will turn off automatically when the cells are full.
If for any reason the cells do not exhibit the right “battery
full” characteristics, the integrated safety timer terminates
the charging procedure after 10 hours.
For an optimum performance we recommend using Li-Ion
rechargeable battery packs and NiMH cells from ANSMANN
