PREPARATION FOR USE, For PONDS

Choose the style of fountain head as needed, and number of
extension tubes required for proper height.
¾
Connect fountain head and/or LED light to the extension tube.
¾
Connect the pump cable to the socket of the control housing on the
rear side of the solar panel.
¾
Connect the LED light cable to the socket of the control housing.
¾
Place the pump under water, ensuring it is
fully submersed
. Adjust
height of unit so fountain head is just above the water surface.
¾
Choose an appropriate location for the solar panel that will
allow the best possible exposure to sunlight.
¾
The unit is now ready to use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Turning on / off the pump system
Push the “on” button at rear of solar panel. The green “pump on” light will
illuminate, automatically setting memory function for daily use at this time.

: LED lights use a sensor, operating only at night)
Low Battery
When the battery is low, the red “low battery” indicator light will blink.
Allow the solar panel to charge the batteries for at least 4 hours in full
direct sunlight, or unplug pump and light from the rock unit and charge
using the hybrid charging cable.

When you push the “on” button, the system will work for up to 4 hours,
or until the battery power is exhausted.
Proper Use of the Memory function
Note the time. The pump will begin operation automatically at this
time every day unless you clear the memory.
Pushing the “off” button will clear the memory. The next time the “on
button” is pushed, the system resets to this new time daily.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Solar panel
: The panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue.
Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum conversion
of the sun’s energy into direct current.
Pump
: To prevent build up of sediment, scale or dirt in the impeller or
filter, remove the pump cover and the impeller cover. Clean parts with a
soft brush, and mild soap and water.
6.
REPLACING BATTERIES
The rechargeable batteries are intended for a life span of up to 18
months based on proper usage. They can be replaced with
4 standard 1.2V / 1200mAH AA size Ni-MH units.
CAUTIONS / WARNINGS
Any alteration of the product or the components will void warranty.
Do not connect the pump directly to any AC voltage power; it is
intended ONLY for DC Voltage power.
The Hybrid Charging Cable is intended for INDOOR USE ONLY.
Operate in freshwater only (never above 50 degrees C ),
Keep away from flammable liquids.
Do not strike the solar panel.
Do not let the pump run dry.
