For additional protection, the use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a
tripping current not exceeding 30mA is recommended.
Remote control
The remote control supplied with the heater requires a “CR2032” 3-volt lithium battery.
To replace the battery:
1.
Turn the remote control over so that the buttons face the floor.
2.
Pull out the tray of the appliance where the battery is stored.
3.
Take out the used “CR2032” 3-volt battery and place the new battery in the tray
with the positive side facing downwards.
4.
Fit the tray correctly back in the remote control.
Operating the remote control
Turn the remote control over so that the buttons face the floor.
Pull out the tray of the appliance where the battery is stored.
Remove the plastic spacer between the battery and the terminal.
Make sure the battery is inserted with the + sign facing downwards.
Aim the remote control directly at the display of the heater.
Do not put any objects between the remote control and the heater while the
appliance is operating. Operate the remote control within a 3 meter range of the
appliance.
Note:
Always keep batteries out of the way of children.
Remove batteries from the remote control if the appliance is going to be stored
or not frequently used.
Batteries contain chemical substances and therefore should be disposed of
correctly. Seek advice from your local council on the correct disposal of the
batteries.
If there is a strong ambient light source present, the performance of the remote
control will be reduced.
If you suspect your child has ingested a battery, go to the hospital immediately.
Don’t induce vomiting or have your child eat or drink anything until assessed by
a medical professional.
