Grinding coffee
1. Take care not to overload the unit.
Only use for grinding coffee beans,
nuts or spices.
2. Warning Rated Run Time RRT 30s.
This appliance is not intended for con-
tinuous operation. Run for 30 seconds
then allow to rest for 3 minutes.
3. Do not fill coffee beans beyond the
brim of the unit.
4. To start the coffee grinder, place the
transparent lid onto the motor part
and make sure it is securely in place.
5. Hold down the On/Off switch to start
the grinding process; make sure you
press down on the On/Off button as
releasing it will stop the grinding
process.
6. To stop the appliance simply release
the On/Off switch.
7. It is not recommended that you grind
for more than 30 seconds. Grinding
for a long period of time does not re-
sult in finer ground coffee but simply
overheats the coffee resulting in a loss
of aroma.
8. After grinding your coffee, switch off
the appliance, take off the transparent
lid from the motor part and pour out
the ground coffee.
9. Note: For optimal flavours it is recom-
mended to grind the coffee beans
immediately before brewing.
Cleaning
Always unplug the unit before clean-
ing.
The transparent lid can be washed
by hand; do not clean it in the dish-
washer.
The grinding area in the motor parts
can be cleaned with a small brush.
Wipe the motor part with a damp
cloth.
