Controls:
Auto-Off Function -
1.
If the iron is left on the heel rest unmoved, the iron will stop heating in 15 minutes.
The light at the base of the water tank will blink to indicate the iron has
automatically shut off.
2.
If the iron is left unmoved in the ironing position or is accidentally tipped over, the
iron will stop heating in 30 seconds. Again, the light at the base of the water tank
will blink to indicate the iron has automatically shut off.
3.
To auto-restart the iron, move the iron back and forth. The light at the base of the
water tank will stop blinking to indicate the iron has begun to heat and continue
ironing as normal.
Temperature Control Dial - Adjust according to fabric type/ironing needs. Adjustable Steam
Dial - Choose one of three settings according to ironing needs.
Shot of Steam Button - Delivers a powerful burst of steam from the non-stick sole plate to
help remove stubborn creases and wrinkles.
Spray Button - Delivers a light mist over fabric to help remove wrinkles from heavier fabrics
and to set creases.
Retractable Cord - Pull cord to desired length. To store cord, press and hold the cord release
button while guiding the cord into the storage area. Please note: Hold plug while retracting
cord. Do not let cord retract freely. Cord may jam in storage area or snap back and forth and
could cause injury.
CARE AFTER EACH USE
1. Turn temperature control dial to “off”. Unplug and let cool. The iron takes longer to
cool down than it does to heat up.
2. To empty water from iron, slowly tilt pointed end of iron down over a sink. Water will
run out of water tank opening.
3. To remove or clean starch or other materials from non-stick sole plate, make sure
that the plate is cool, then apply a small amount of mild cleaner to a damp cloth,
forming a paste on the cloth. Gently rub the ironing surface of the iron, then wipe with
moist cloth. Never use metallic pads. CAUTION: Never use scouring pads, abrasive or
harsh cleaners, as this may scratch the surface.
4. Retract iron cord by pressing the cord release button. Store iron in an upright
position. Do not store iron laying flat on non-stick sole plate.
