We recommend to reset the SMART SCALER™ to all of its default values, with the LCD menu # 4-5, before
beginning

Select the type of video signal connected to the RGB/YUV input (LCD menu # 1-3).

Select the type of screen (4/3 or 16/9) in LCD menu # 2-4.

Select the output sync. type which correspond to your display device (LCD menu # 2-1).

Select the synchronization mode (LCD menu # 2-3). Please see the synchronization mode table below.

Select an Output Format (LCD menu # 2-4). Please see the synchronization mode table below.
NOTE
: For fixed panel display device (DMD, LCD, PLASMA…), select always the output format corresponding to
the native resolution of your display device. Thus, the display device will not have to scale the image and the
result will be better.

7-3) IMAGE ADJUSTMENTS
For all input sources connected to the SMART SCALER™, make the following adjustments: :

Select the aspect ratio of your input source (LCD menu #3-6)

Adjust the vertical and horizontal position (LCD menu # 3-1 & 3-2)

Make the others adjustments, if necessary, available in LCD menu # 3 (color, brightness, image process…)
NOTE
: The image adjustments are only active for the selected video input.
NOTE
: To preset your image adjustment, select one video to display in output, then use the LCD
menu # 3-12 (Preset).
