Blackfin Processor Compiler and Code Density
Blackfin processors coupled with the powerful Vi+ software
development tools now make it possible to develop code in C/C++ more
easily and efficiently than before. The high MIPS availability from the
core processor allows for initial versions of software to be compiled and
run on the processor much earlier in the design cycle, thus allowing for
quicker overall system debug to shorten time to market. The goal is to
alleviate software as a potential critical path element in system
development.
