4. Verify the installation by following the instructions in 

“Verifying 

Driver Installation” on page 1-15

. 

Verifying Driver Installation

Before you use the EZ-KIT Lite evaluation system, verify that the USB 
driver software is installed properly:

1. Ensure that the USB cable is connected to the evaluation board and 

the PC.

2. Press the 

RESET

 button (

S1

) on the evaluation board.

3. Verify that the red USB monitor LED (CR7) is lit. This signifies 

that the board is communicating properly with the host PC, and is 
ready to run Vi+.
