External AV Setup Page
Click the External AV command button (FIG. 89) to access the External AV page described below (FIG. 89).
The options on this page allow you to add and configure externally sourced TDS streams (such as from a
MAX-CSE):

External AV Setup Page Options
Add New External AV Source
• IP Address: Enter the Multicast (IP) address of the streaming device that you want to pick up.
• Port: Enter the port on which the Multicast stream is transmitting.
• Channel Number: Assign a Channel Number to the device that you are adding to the system.
This is the channel number that will be accessed to view this source.
• Channel Name: Assign a Channel Name to the device that you are adding to the system.
This is the channel name that will be accessed to view this source.
• Enabled: Check this option to enable this device, once it is added to the system.
Note: By default, devices are disabled when they are added to the system.
• Add: Click to add the newly defined device to the system.
Current External AV Sources
• IP Address: Indicates the Multicast IP address of each stream.
• Port: Indicates the Port that each Multicast stream is using.
• Channel Number: Indicates the Channel Number assigned to each External AV device currently in the
system.
• Channel Name: Indicates the Channel Name assigned to each External AV device currently in the
system.
• Enabled: Check this option to enable or disable each External AV source device in the system.
• If a source is enabled , the channel will appear in the Channel Listing of the Receiver.
• If a source is disabled , the channel will not appear in the Channel Listing of the
Receiver.
• Update: Click to save any changes made to the External AV device.
• Delete: Click to permanently remove the External AV device from the system.
