Overview
Scheduled events (including Scheduled Events and Preset schedules) are listed on the Schedule page
(FIG. 56), but are created using options in both the Status and Devices pages, as described in this section.
There are main types of schedules that can be created:

Scheduled Events - Scheduled events consist of individual device commands that are scheduled to
execute at specified intervals.
Scheduled events are created in the
Devices page, and are limited to IR-controlled devices.
Refer to the Scheduling an Event for IR-Controlled Devices section on page 41 for information no
creating a scheduled event.

Presets - Multiple scheduled events can be combined into a Preset schedule (or "Preset"). In order
to create a Preset, you must first have created two or more Scheduled Events. The process of
creating a Preset entails selecting two or more existing Scheduled Events and saving them as a
Preset (see below).

You can create and store up to 16 scheduled events (including Presets).

• Event: Select an event (command) to schedule and/or send to the included devices.
Included devices are all devices that have the
Include option selected.
• Inputs/Actions/Events: • For listed Scheduled Events, this column displays the name assigned to each
event.
• For Presets, this column displays the Events (by Event number) included in each
Preset.
• Ports/Devices: For listed Scheduled Events, this column displays the Devices (by Device number)
included in this scheduled event.
• Frequency: This column displays the frequency setting for each Scheduled Event and Preset.
• Time: This column displays the time setting for each Scheduled Event and Preset.
• Enable: Click this checkbox to enable each Scheduled Event and Preset that you want to
execute at the scheduled time(s). Only Scheduled Events and Presets that are
enabled will be executed.
