Once in the Configuration Menu (FIG. 5) you can display your current settings, set IP address, set
subnet mask, set IP address of a gateway, set the NetLinx device number for the ALD-D48, specify
NetLinx Master, exit without saving changes, or save changes and reboot.
Selecting Display current settings will give the settings currently configured for the device.
Set IP address (FIG. 7) will provide you with the option to enable DHCP. If you select not to
enable DHCP you will be prompted to enter a new IP address.
Set subnet mask determines which IP packets will be processed based on the number of bits you
designate to be masked from the sender's IP address. FIG. 8 below has common examples and their
corresponding IP address.
