If you have a mains power failure, you can
still use your telephone base to make and
receive telephone calls but the display will
only function when you lift the handset.

You can also use the following functions
when the handset is lifted:

M2 or M3 keys

- Dial out Recall (Flash) and pause

- Adjust the receiver volume

- Mute the microphone

The phone will ring for an incoming call in
power fail mode but the incoming call light
will not function and the callers’ details will
not be stored in the calls list.
