IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IF YOUR TRAP DOES NOT WORK
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
• Always disconnect the power cord when handling the trap
• Never submerge or expose the trap to water
• Newver use a trap with damage cords, transformers and electric connectors
• Always place the trap in protection of wind, sun and rain
• Keep your fingers away from the fan
• Always keep the trap away from children
If both the UV-tube and fan is not working:
Make sure you have power all the way to your trap and that it is turned on.
The fan is making a noise or is clogged:
Clean as recommended in maintenance
The UV-lamp is not working:
Replace it with a new one, you can find replacement tubes where you buy the trap
The trap runs but does not catch mosquitoes:
Move it to another location, Try it for at least a week every time you change its location.
Pay extra attentionnotice to our recommendations for how and were to place the trap.
Remember
, it must be close to the ground 40 – 60cm, in a place calm or with no wind, close to bushes’ and well
protected from rain and sunlight.
Remove the Rapid Action attractant.
Some mosquitoes does not like the smell of the mushroom alcohol
The Amplecta Mosquitoes Trap works independently with 6 different methods to imitate the attractive signals from the human body. When
the mosquitoes get close they will be sucked in a catch container with a strong vacuum. The trapped Caught mosquito’s will dyies within a
couple of hours. All you have to do is to empty the container when full or once a week. We recommend you use the Rapid Action attractant
enclosed in the box. The attractant emulates the human body smells and increases the catch rate for up to 4 times. The Rapid Action
attractant will last for about 4 weeks and you will find replacement cartridges at all stores selling the Amplecta Mosquito Traps.
The Amplecta Mosquito Traps uses 6 different methods attract mosquitoes.
• Carbon Dioxide (breath) • Moist (breath) • Heat (body) • Rapid Action attractant (sweat) • UV-light (fine tuned for mosquitoes)
• Contrast color Black (showed too superior in tests)
Your Mosquito Trap is designed to reduce the mosquito populations. It may take several weeks of use to reduce the populations to a point
that your mosquito problem is under control.
Your Mosquito Trap is not designed to compete with humans in close proximity e.g.: at a Barbeque.-. If you are planning an outdoor event
you need to operate the Trap for an extensive time before the event

Vår myggfälla är en miljövänlig produkt som har tagits fram för att minska det lokala myggbeståndet. Daglig användning kan minska
myggpopulationen tillräckligt mycket för att du skall få kontroll över problemet. Alla ingredienser i fällan (titandioxid (TiO2), mjölksyra och
oktenol) är säkra att använda för människor. Ställ inte myggfällan nära platser där människor vanligen vistas, eftersom den drar till sig
mygg. Placera den på en mörk, regnskyddad och skuggig plats. Låt den stå på när myggorna är som mest aktiva, vanligtvis från mitten
av maj och över sommaren fram till september. På så sätt minskar antalet honmygg på sikt och få nya ägg kläcks i området. Stäng av
fällan och töm behållaren en gång i veckan.
Fällan kan användas inomhus, men då rekommenderar vi att du tar bort oktenolpatronen för att slippa obehaglig lukt och för att inte
locka in mygg i huset. Tänk på att det tar tid att bekämpa myggor. Principen vid den här typen av myggbekämpning är att förhindra att
honmyggan återvänder till sin lokala äggkläckningsplats för att lägga nya ägg. En honmygga lägger tusentals ägg varje år. Första sä

songen märker du tydligt en minskning av mygg, men det är först året därpå som du ser den verkliga skillnaden. Helt myggfritt kommer
det aldrig att bli eftersom nya honor kommer att blåsa in och etablera sig i ditt område.
