5.7 Telemetry Test
The telemetry test is intended to allow controlled testing of the system alarms and setpoint flags and the
resultant behaviour of the external interfaces (4-20mA loop and/or Modbus/iMAC) without having to
apply a test gas. This feature can be useful for routine testing and/or commissioning testing.
CAUTION!
The telemetry test may trigger alarms and setpoint flags.
NOTE
Gas values transmitted over Modbus and iMAC have the units of
‘permyriad of full scale’ and may require conversion. Refer to Section

Performing a Telemetry Test
1. Access the GG2 maintenance menu via the display UI using the magnetic calibration tool. Refer
to Section 6.1 for an overview of navigating the user interface and the menu structure.
