ENTERING TEXT 

When storing a name in the phonebook, creating your personal 
greetings or scheduling events in your calendar or writing any other 
message, you will need to enter text.   
You are provided with the following eZi text input modes: 
• Symbol 
• English/ ENGLISH/ english 
• Spanish / SPANISH/ Spanish 
• Abc/ ABC/ abc 
•123 (Numeric input mode) 
 

Note: The number on the top right is a word count of the message, it 
points out how many characters you can enter in the edit zone. The 
current input mode indicates on the top left of the display. 
 

Changing Text Input Mode                     

When in a text entry screen, you will see the text input mode indicator 
on the top left of the display. Press the 

OK 

key to enter the

 

text input 

mode list, and press the 

c

 or 

d

 key to find the desired one. Or you 

can simply change the input mode by pressing the     key in text 
entering mode.   
 

Note: The text input mode may vary in different markets.
