styling tips
Straight
Divide your hair and place in clips.
Take about a two inch section of hair,
gentle clamp the amika styler as close
to the scalp as possible and pull slowly
and evenly down to the ends of the
hair. It is better to go slower and glide
through the section of hair rather than
going fast and having to go over the
same section multiple times.
Curly
Take a section of hair at the root and
begin rotating the styler 360°. Once
rotated, pull the styler through the
length of the hair. For looser curls, pull
the styler through the hair faster, for
tighter curls,
go slower.

Recommended Temperatures by Hair Type
Volume
Take a section of hair at the root area
and gentle clamp the styler. Then give
the styler a half turn and pull in the
opposite direction to give lift and create
volume.
Flips
Take a section of hair between the
plates starting at the root area. Glide
the styler through the hair until you get
to the area that you want to flip out
or under. Then begin to flip the styler
out or under about 180° or less—
depending on the size of the flip you
want to achieve.
