SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Never leave the appliance connected to the mains with

out supervision.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (in
-
cluding children) with physical, mental or sensory hand
-
icaps, or by persons inexperienced or unfamiliar with
the appliance, unless under supervision or in accord
-
ance with the instructions as communicated to them by
persons responsible for their safety. Children shall not
play with the appliance.
Pull the plug from the wall outlet before replacing ac
-
cessories.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years
and older or by persons with physical, mental or sen
-
sory handicaps, or by those who are inexperienced or
unfamiliar with the appliance, provided they are super
-
vised or have been instructed how to safely use the ap
-
pliance and are familiar with risks associated with the
use of the appliance. Ensure that children do not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance of the
appliance should not be performed by children unless
they are 8 years or older and are supervised by a com
-
petent person.
The surface on which the appliance is used shall be
level, clean and dry.

Press and hold the power switch (Fig. 1, item 3 or 4) to
turn on the appliance. To stop the appliance press the
button (Fig. 1, item 5). You can completely shut down
the appliance by disconnecting it from the power supply.
Before use, extend and straighten the power cord.
Use the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
Do not use an extension cord which does not meet the
applicable electrical standards and regulations.
Do not use the toaster without the slide-out crumb tray
fitted (Fig. 3). Clean the crumb tray regularly. Do not al
-
low crumbs to accumulate in the tray.
Do not place aluminium foil or other objects inside the
appliance, it may cause electric shock or fire.
Do not use the appliance for heating rooms.
