OPERATION
The Pyrolytic oven cleaning system automatically
cleans the oven’s interior by raising its tempera-
ture up to 490°C. During this process, the ther-
mochemical decomposition (burning) will occur,
ridding the oven’s interior of organic leftovers
after grilling or baking. These will be incinerated
to ash, which can be easily wiped away. While
this takes place, the oven door will automatically
lock and an indicating light will warn and inform
about the high temperature.
To start the pyrolysis process follow the following
instructions:
Choose the “pyrolysis” function from the main
menu and press OK to confirm
Clear all leftovers from the oven
After clearing all leftovers from the oven inside
close the door and press OK to continue the
process. Choose the duration of pyrolysis by
pressing these buttons: (choose 60
minutes, 90 minutes or 120 minutes) and press
OK to confirm. The right screen will display the
remaining time until completion of the program -
including cooling and unlocking.
Warning: the default time setting for pyrolysis is
90 minutes.
After pyrolysis time is confirmed a main tempera -
ture (490°C) screen appears.
During the pyrolysis process, pressing any other
buttons (except ) will sound a beeping signal.
Once the program is initiated an illuminated icon
will signalize that the door is locked.
While the cleaning process is active, the tempe-
rature will increase up to 490°C. The program
will measure the remaining time until completion.
After the custom pyrolysis completes (60 minu-
tes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes) the (--) symbols
and ‘COOLING’ message will show in the tempe-
rature window, and a countdown until completion
of the cooling will appear. After reaching a tem-
perature lower than 140°C, the door will unlock.
When the countdown ends (including cooling
and unlocking), the lock icon will disappear and a
beep sound will be heard.
After pressing OK and finishing the program, the
oven will continue into standby mode.
