Battery
Replace the Tono-Pen AVIA Vet POWERCEL Battery when:
• The battery indicator shows low battery after depressing the
activation button.
• There are no beeps, the LCD remains blank after pressing the
activation button, or a noticeable slowing occurs when activating
the device.
Note:
Replace the battery with PN
230751.
Storage
• Cover the tip with an Ocu-Film + tip cover for protection.
• If the Tono-Pen AVIA Vet tonometer is not to be used until a
subsequent day, the instrument and accessories should be placed
in the storage case provided.
• If the instrument is to be stored for an extended period, remove the
Tono-Pen AVIA Vet POWERCEL Battery to avoid possible damage
to the instrument due to battery leakage.
Disposal
The Tono-Pen AVIA Vet, Ocu-Film, and Tono-Pen AVIA Vet
POWERCEL do not generate any environmentally hazardous
residues. At the end of its product service life, follow your local laws
and ordinances regarding the proper disposal of this equipment.
