Main PCB

1 Introduction

This Installation Guide provides information on how to remove and replace the

Main PCB (Part Nº 804320) in a Land Instruments International Model 4500 MkIII

Continuous Opacity Monitoring System (COMS).

CAUTION

This procedure is intended for skilled instrument technicians and

should be carried out in a clean workshop.
Take appropriate precautions to prevent damage from electrostatic

discharge.

2 Removing the transceiver cover

1) Using a 3mm Allen key, remove

the 8 screws that secure the

instrument cover.

2) Slowly pull back the red cover

until the keyboard connector

can be seen. Disconnect the

keyboard ribbon, and then

remove the cover.
