B5.7 Setting Calibration Constants Manually
In the event of a major malfunction resulting in loss of the calibration data,
the Model 4500 MkIII provides a facility for entering the calibration constants
manually. The original calibration data determined during factory testing
are recorded on the Calibration Report. This may also show calibration data
determined during later clear-stack calibrations. To enter the calibration
constants, C, X and B:
1) Press
2) Unlock
is displayed, press
3) Use the and arrows until the Engineer code is displayed and press
4) Use the and arrows to select Calibration
and press
5) Use the and arrows to select the C Constant
and press
6) Use the and arrows to change the displayed value as required and
press
7) Use the and
arrows to select the X Constant
and press
8) Use the and arrows to change the displayed value as required and
press
9)
Use the and arrows to select the B Constant
and press
10) Use the and arrows to change the displayed value as required and press
11) Press
three times to return to the main display.
