Network Client Corporate License
The PID that accompanies the Policy Manager software delivery encodes the presence or
absence of an NC Corporate License.
The PID is labeled on the jewel case and contains:
• Product Type (Policy Manager)
• Version
• S/N (unique serialization) - S/N is tied directly to the serial number embedded in the
hardware key, and not to the server hosting the Policy Manager software
• Features (eight individually selected on-off bits)
• Integrity checksum.
A corporate license allows the corporate customer to:
• Purchase one copy of NC
• Install it on as many nodes as required
• Use the same Product ID (NCCPID) for each install
• Have duplicate PID check on Intellex disabled automatically.
To upgrade:
1 Select License Manager.
2 Click Upgrade.
3 Enter the PID, which upgrades the hardware key to grant the NC Corporate License.
