Browser Client
Overview
Browser Client is a web-based application that allows users to point their browser at a URL and
view live video from a set of Intellex units.
Browser Client 4.2 is compatible with Intellex 3.2, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 software.
The user interface comprises two sections, one for the administrator and one for the user. This
document describes user functions. The user can:
• Log in to the Browser Client web application
• Change his/her password
• View live video.
System Requirements
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater, or other browser able to host Active X controls (configure the
browser to support Active X controls and Active X control scripting)
• The client side OS requirements from the Browser Client 4.2 Administrator’s Guide
• A fast Internet (or Intranet) connection
Logging in to Browser Client

Point the browser at the path for Browser Client; e.g.192.168.1.1/BrowserClient. The login
page appears as follows:

Enter your User Name and Password as assigned by your system administrator.
